Democrats Pass the "Fun Tax"
The Maryland Legislative Session is coming to an end. Here's the latest:
- HB 1064: Imposes a "fun tax" of 6% on homeowners who rent outdoor amenities. Watch my amendment, as Democrats defend the indefensible.
- HB 255: Creates a paint tax. It seems that Maryland is finding new ways to tax you every day and every way.
- SB 781: Electricity Tax: Mandates taxpayer-funded 950' tall wind turbines be built along Ocean City, destroying our ocean habitats. This will significantly increase electricity rates. Watch the debate.
- HB 230: Delivery Tax: Requires the sale of all-electric, medium-sized and heavy-duty trucks by December of 2023, making deliveries far more expensive. Watch the debate.
Rest assured, I will continue to fight against these dangerous & extremist agendas.
