Candidate for Maryland State Delegate, Mark Fisher, in a recent interview with TheBAYNET.com and on Baynet Radio stated that he became a candidate for Delegate because he believes many people in Maryland share a deep concern about the direction in which the state and the country are heading.
“Our elected officials in [Washington] D.C. and Annapolis have ignored our calls for common sense, fiscal restraint and continue to spend our hard earned tax dollars and push us deeper and deeper into debt,” said the candidate.
He continued that even though, given the current economic climate, when officials should be focusing on jobs and economic growth, they continue to foster an environment hostile to job creators. “It's time we had leaders that understood that government is not the solution to our economic woes but rather a cause of those problems.”
