Annapolis - Mark Fisher filed papers with the Maryland Board of Elections allowing him to become an official candidate in the race to represent District 27-B in the Maryland House of Delegates. Fisher’s filing follows a campaign kick-off event held at historic Gray’s Field on May 15, 2010, where county residents and elected officials joined Mark and his family to launch his campaign.
“Over the last several months I have had the pleasure of meeting many Calvert residents who share my vision for fiscal reform, government reform and economic reform in Maryland,” Fisher said. “Calvert residents are ready for a state delegate who will truly represent their interests in Annapolis and who will work hard to implement the kinds of policies we need to ensure a sound economic future for Calvert residents, families and businesses.”
Fisher was accompanied by his wife Deena, and three children Sonia (19); Samuel (16), and Olivia (13).
District 27-B includes Chesapeake Beach, North Beach, and all or part of the following: Huntingtown, Sunderland, Prince Frederick, Port Republic, Barstow, Owings, and Dunkirk.
