Prince Frederick – Mark Fisher, candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, announced three key endorsements from the Maryland business community: the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) and the Maryland Leadership PAC.
Mark Fisher is a 21 year resident of Calvert County, and successful small business owner. His strong concerns about the challenges facing our state and economy compelled him to enter the race to represent Calvert County District 27-B.
“I am honored to have the support of these key business organizations that are all committed to economic opportunity, economic growth, and job creation in Maryland,” said Fisher. “In order to get our state back on sound economic footing, I believe we must create a climate that will enable businesses to create the jobs Maryland workers and their families need.”
The Maryland Chamber praised Fisher’s "clear understanding of the business issues important to economic growth and job creation in Maryland." NFIB said of Fisher, "we believe that you are the best choice to represent the views of the men and women who own, operate and work in Maryland small businesses." The Maryland Leadership PAC said that Mark Fisher's "election to the state legislature will provide a much needed commitment to improving Maryland's business climate."
Mark Fisher believes our state is heading in the wrong direction. In order to address the unprecedented economic challenges we face, we must balance the budget, reduce out of control government spending, lower taxes and restore a business friendly environment to stimulate job creation and get Marylanders back to work.
