Maryland is one of the most gerrymandered states in the nation.

Now, Ben Jealous said that he wants to gerrymander Maryland EVEN FURTHER!

Jealous recently said that he intends to redistrict Maryland so that it becomes a one-party state. In other words, he plans to gerrymander our state even worse than it already is.

Following this, the Baltimore Sun (who previously endorsed Jealous in the Gubernatorial Primary) penned a piece titled "Ben Jealous has promised to do a lot of things. We didn't expect gerrymandering to be one of them."

Gov. Hogan has proposed a non-partisan redistricting commission and I have proudly co-sponsored the legislation.

Progressives in Annapolis won't even hear the bill.

As your Delegate, I have worked with Gov. Hogan to lower taxes and act in a fiscally responsible manner to end the politics of division.

It's time to give the job of redistricting to an independent commission and end politics as usual.
