Groundhog Day In Annapolis
Maryland State is at it again.
It's Groundhog Day! Here are some highlights, so far:
- HB 399: Banning Gas Powered Leaf Blowers - Bans the use of gas powered leaf blowers.
- HB 20: Helmet Mandate - Forces minors to wear helmets while horseback riding.
- HB 361: Birth Certificates - Allows an individual, or their parents, to change their gender on their birth certificate. They want to teach this to your children.
- HB 141: Changes the Maryland State Commission of "LGBTQ" Affairs to "LGBTQIA+" Affairs. This is a thoroughly 'Confused' Commission.
- The Fair Wage Act: This bill ties minimum wage to inflation, so that each time inflation rises, so does minimum wage. All of this without the legislature's vote on the matter.
Rest assured, I will fight to defeat these ridiculous policies.
