Prince Frederick - The Mark Fisher For Delegate Campaign announced it will raffle off an Apple iPad to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. Relay for Life is an annual event taking place in communities around the world to raise awareness and money to benefit the American Cancer Society. The Calvert Relay will take place on Friday June 18th at Hallowing Point Park beginning at 6:00 p.m. and will last 12 hours during which individuals from organized teams will walk the track.

“Calvert Relay For Life is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in celebration of the lives of friends and family who are cancer survivors and to honor the memory of those that have lost their battle with the disease,” said Fisher. “It’s also a great opportunity to help raise money that will benefit the important work of the American Cancer Society in their mission to win the fight against cancer.”

Mark Fisher lost his maternal and fraternal grandfathers to cancer.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the Fisher For Delegate Campaign tent during Calvert Relay For Life at a cost of 1 ticket for $2 or 3 tickets for $5. The raffle will be drawn at 12:30 a.m. in the “Treasure Trove” area.
