Each year the MBRG rate legislators according to their votes on issues affecting Maryland Businesses. Delegate Fisher received a cumulative 95% (after two years) and also featured his Amendment SB 1302 – Special Session – Floor Amendment (Delegate Fisher) – State and Local Revenue and Financing Act to eliminate a Maryland State Tax on business borrowing.
Unfortunately, the amendment failed, and as a result, businesses in Maryland will be taxed on money that is borrowed for business expansion, job growth and new equipment
