As owner of a company that has built cellular towers for 15 years, Mark Fisher knows what it's like to run a business in tough economic times.
That job is made more difficult, he says, because of Maryland's inhospitable business climate and is a chief reason why Fisher is seeking the Republican nomination for the House of Delegates in District 27B.
"I am definitely not a politician," said the first-time candidate for public office. "I'm self-employed and I really think it's time for people to get involved to bring common-sense financial reform to the state of Maryland and common sense economic and government reform to the state of Maryland."
