The Hunger Games - No More
Thanksgiving is the one holiday that brings together all Marylanders and all Americans like no other Holiday.
Thanksgiving is deeply rooted in American history as people coming together to celebrate the bounty of a great harvest while enjoying the company of family, friends and community.
Over the years, new traditions have added to this great Holiday. Millions of Americans will gather to watch Football, the annual Macy's Day Parade and yes, The National Dog Show. This is a time of joy and reflection upon the closing days of a year almost passed.
All of these events have become part of the American psyche.
Yet, in Maryland, many citizens continue to struggle with unemployment, underemployment, foreclosure and small business failure. Citizens, organizations and local churches continue to fill the void of hunger & despair that has rocked our Community, our State and our Nation.
This is why it is so important to help where you can, if you're able. Please take a moment to watch this video about the End Hunger Campaign in Calvert County.

Please send a message that we will not go the way of The Hunger Games.
May you and your family have a safe, healthy and happy Thanksgiving and may every citizen see a brighter tomorrow.
Your in service,
